My Story
​
I'm Vanessa and I'm the owner VG BEAUTY BAR. I've always had a passion for art and drawing at a young age, which led me to playing with make up. When I realized I could make other peope feel beautiful too, I decided after High school to take Aesthetics.
I graduated in 2009 at Atlantic Hairstyling & Aesthetics academy, in Fredericton, NB.
5 years later I had been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 24. While losing all my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes during chemo I thought about others who could be struggling with the same issues and thats when I discovered eyebrow/ eyeliner/ areola tattooing at the micro pigmentation centre. I flew to Toronto and completed the intense 6 day course (while still undergoing treatments).
5 years later , I am **Cancer Free** , a Business owner and settled in Fort McMurray, AB. Since then, I have taken multiple permanent make up courses, eyelash extension courses, blood born pathogens course and the education will never stop. I'm so grateful to be following my dream and helping women feel as beautiful as they are!
